Moujamaa Al Tahreer Orphanage
Sultaniyeh, Lebanon
We are looking for specialists in Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Speech Pathology/ Audiology, and Medical Students. Participants are encouraged to stay on the following week to help in Bekka Valley with our group !

- The Orphanage facility: The Liberation Academy – Moujamaa Al Tahreer http://www.medrar.org.lb/en/liberation-academy-mujamaa-al-tahreer/ : Open since year 2000. The campus includes 2 separate housing facilities for boys/girls (total 170 children ranging from 4- 15 years), and a school for nearly 1200 students. A small medical clinic. Travel: bus from Beirut provided by Medrar

Bekaa Valley Refugee Camps
Bekaa, Lebanon
Stay in Beirut, and travel daily to Bekka. We are in need of Anesthesiologists and Orthopedic surgeons (if specializing in pediatric cases, that would be a bonus). All other surgical specialties welcome!

- Travel: Daily roundtrip bus from our hotel in Beirut to work sites provided by SAMS

Make sure you book online at the “Suites Raouche”. Once you check in, you can mention that you are there with the SAMS group and you will get this discounted rate. ($110 single, $120 double [2 twin beds], $230 suite)
- Work schedule: Drive time is appx 1 hour each way. Work day from 8:00am – 4:00pm. Weekends are half work days, and possible afternoon presentations to the local staff on medical- related topics and procedures.
