Medical Students Seeking School Credit

MedClerkships offers many medical electives that can be deemed eligible for medical school credit at your home institution.  The typical process involves 3rd and 4th year electives and your school approving the program via their clinical affiliate form.

Documents Typically Required to Confer Credit

  • Medical school’s clinical evaluation form
  • Away rotation guidelines/requirements
  • Clerkship/Elective Requirements
  • Contact to Clerkship Dean/Coordinator/Administration (when possible)

American Students:

Seeking extra electives in highly competitive specialties such as Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Radiology in an effort to network & learn some of the more in depth procedures/consider lifestyle/ gain opportunities for a Letter of Recommendation.
