ERAS has released the following timeline for 2022 that IMGs need to be aware of. See below:

| June 9, 2021 | ERAS 2022 season begins at 9 a.m. ET. |
| June 24, 2021 | ECFMG will release tokens to IMG residency applicants. |
| September 1, 2021 | Applicants may begin submitting applications to programs at 9 a.m. ET. |
| September 29, 2021 | Residency programs may begin reviewing applications and MSPEs at 9 a.m. ET. |
| May 31, 2022 | ERAS 2022 season ends at 5 p.m. ET. |
